I was called a hippie for the first time in 2009 when my alternative outlook on the world challenged a friends way of thinking. Sitting there I didn’t know whether to be offended or honored. Upon thinking about it further I decided that I was proud to be referred to as an independent thinker, someone who spreads love and happiness and someone that takes care of the earth I call home. Fast forward eight years and it is now undeniable that I have fallen deep into the realms of hippiedom turning to essential oils instead of medicine, adopting a full vegan lifestyle and cramming my family into my 90sqft solar powered VW Vanagon.
